  • Food: You are sitting on an allocated table; service is extremely slow, not because of the waiters but because there are only about seven of them for the entire dining room (seating about 160 guests). Dinner may easily take two hours or more. You can't go anywhere else as there is just one restaurant on this ship. Choice of main dinner dish: meat; fish; vegetarian or salad. Selection has to be made in advance at breakfast time. Food quality is average and generally salty. Drinks inexpensive (e.g. beer €2.40). Excursions: prebooked passage is great value. Internet: wi-fi doesn't allow you to remain logged in or save your password; each time you start a new session or check your mail you have to put in the password allocated to you (which you cannot change). Moreover internet access is available only about 60% of the time and not everywhere on the ship. OTOH: when it is available, it is relatively fast and the €50 charge for 14 days is reasonable. Service: crew mostly east european; some crew members need to work on their customer service skills.
